Class Registration Policy and other details to note

 

To select a class, browse the options available., Reserve your seat by registering and purchasing for your class on the website.
You may also call the shop at 631-314-9141 to register via phone.

 

Before signing up for a class, please check your schedule and confirm your availability. 
To be fair to our teachers and other students, we must be firm with our class registration and cancellation polices.

 

Full payment of class fee is required at time of registration. To consider safe, social distancing, class size is limited to 6-8 students per session, so register as soon as possible. Please, if you don't feel well or have been exposed to someone who is sick, do not come to the shop. 


Refunds are given if you notify us no later than one week prior to the start of the class. We reserve the right to cancel a class due to insufficient enrollment. If we have to cancel a class, your money will be refunded.

Please note - limited parking available. Consider arriving up to 30 minutes early to drop off your supplies and machine and save your seat. Then park. You don't want to miss a thing! 

Water and cookies will be available. Bring your favorite K-Cups - cups, sugar and honey available.

Make this beautiful Carpenter Star quilt using a 10" layer cake (or Fat Quarters) Finished size with border is 78"78". Can also be made with 5" Charm Squares for a smaller quilt measuring 35"x35".

Using a jelly roll, make this generous size quilt. Confident beginner - 2 sessions. There is preparation required for this class. Instructions sent to registrants.

Learn the skill of paper-piecing to make a beautiful paper-pieced " Pineapple" style holiday runner. The pineapple block is a popular classic quilting technique your guests will surely appreciate.

This introduction to quilt making offers a wide range of basic techniques while creating a variety of pieced and appliqued blocks. Over six weeks, this course will provide you with a solid foundation for a new-found passion! You'll learn time-saving, modern techniques, the importance of accuracy and how to achieve it, and you'll gain confidence in your abilities. After this course you can sign up for our FINISH THAT QUILT class to learn how to turn your blocks into a beautiful sampler quilt!

You've finished your blocks, now what? Let's put it all together! In this 3 session workshop - you'll learn 1) sashing, borders, 2) choosing batting, backing, basting, 3) choosing quilting design and binding.

Does the phrase "free-motion quilting" strike fear in your heart? Using simple exercises designed to loosen you up, you'll learn to overcome your trepidation and finally rid yourself of that awful fear! If you have taken a basic machine quilting class in the past, or spent time on your own practicing free-motion quilting, but just can't seem to get the hang of it, then this is the class for you. You will work on mastering 3-4 patterns.

Explore the world of Laura Heine and collage quilting with your choice of designs. Choose from "mini" patterns ~16"x20" or the full size which vary.

Using only a rotary cutter (and no ruler) you'll follow your heart instead of a pattern to create a one-of-a-kind quilt top. Elizabeth will gently guide you as you let your intuition lead the way towards a quilt of your own design. Skill level: Confident Beginner to Intermediate. Full day workshop, 10am to 4pm

What better way to show off your patchwork designs - wear them! You'll learn how to make a casual quilted jacket in this 3-class series. Pattern included. Search your stash for orphan blocks or maybe an old quilt and turn your patchwork into a fun casual jacket.

Make a T-Shirt Quilt using the Quilt-As-You-Go method to complete it! This class is a 3 week class. Note** First week is on Friday, while the rest are on Wednesday's.
